Late Summer Community Medicine Making: Herbal Balms & Infused Oils
Please join us for our first community medicine making workshop,
Late Summer Community Medicine Making: Herbal Balms & Infused Oils
Sunday August 31st
2-5pm
Tickets: £20-30
We are beginning a pay-what-you-can community apothecary. The intention is for our local community to come together and collectively make healing remedies from herbs from the garden and wider lands. In this way we hope to cultivate resilience and wellbeing as we grow, gather and make medicine together.
In our first community medicine making session you will get to learn about a number of healing herbs for the skin, how to make an infused herbal oil, and blend oils, waxes and butters into a balm. You will get to go home with your very own herbal balm and help make stock for our community apothecary. We will be using a number of herbs gathered and dried from the garden and you will get a chance to walk around the garden and meet these herbs for yourself.
