Summer Herb Garden Open Day

Come and see the garden in its midsummer glory!

We will be serving seasonal lunch, fresh herb teas and cakes. There will also be herbal remedies for sale, lovingly made from herbs grown in the community garden, as well as cut flower bunches and some herb plants.

There will be free drop-in nature craft activities for families to enjoy all day. Children can learn how to make their own nature wand and flower crown to take home.

As part of the event we will be running a free summer herb tour at 2pm. Come and learn about what herbs are growing at this time of the year, their traditional uses, history and folklore. No need to book, just come along on the day.

The event is free attend but we are also welcoming donations on the day. You are welcome to bring cash or donate via card payment. This event is a fundraiser, so all money raised will go towards the community garden.

To minimise use of disposable cups please bring your own mug along for drinks.

The event will take place at the community herb garden at School Farm CSA. If arriving by car please park at foxhole car park, alternatively we recommend walking or getting the bus. Full directions of how to find us can be found here.
