HEDGEROW immune syrup + oxymel medicine making workshop

Part of our community medicine making autumn/winter series

Join us as we make healing remedies with herbs grown, harvested and dried from the garden and local lands. We will make remedies to take home, but also meet plants in the garden, drink tea and learn about how we can take care of ourselves and others during this season.

Workshops take place at our community herb garden (link here to find the garden) for September and October, we will then move indoors come November.

About the workshop:

In this session we will be making an autumn immune supporting syrup with elderberries and other berries that have been slowly gathered from the garden, our home and around the local area. We will be blending them with warming and anti-viral spices + herbs from the garden and local raw honey. We will also make an oxymel (vinegar+honey mixture) with hedgerow fruits that are available like rosehips and hawthorn berries, that makes a delicious and healing alternative to sugary syrups.

Ticket price:

concessions/unwaged/low waged: £15

standard price: £25

Please note that as we are a small social enterprise we cannot offer refunds on tickets. In the event that you have to cancel and on the basis that we can sell your ticket we can offer a refund or offer you a ticket place on a later date.
