Spring is arriving!
Hello all please join us on the evening of Friday 20th March for a special spring equinox celebration and land blessing. We would love to come together as a community to welcome in the spring and bless the land for the upcoming growing season together. Local song and choir leader Fran Andrè will be holding a special song circle for us at the herb garden. Fran will guide us into songs so we can raise our voices together to bless the land and celebrate the arrival of spring. Songs will be simple, taught by ear and easy for everyone to join in.
A vegetarian dinner (probably soup or curry) will be served at 5pm and the song circle and land blessing will start at 6.15pm. We will be singing as the sun sets into dusk. We will be taking bookings so we know numbers and are asking for a small donation to cover food and Fran’s time. You don’t need to donate for kids, just book them a free space. We would love to have you all there!
Also this event is just for our volunteers. We are planning to offer more gatherings outside of our volunteer days throughout the year so we can build community and spend more time connecting to nature and the garden together :)
Timings:
4.30pm - Arrivals
5pm - Dinner, tea, fireside hang out
6.15-7.30pm - land blessing and song circle with Fran Andrè
