Fire cider immune tonic and herbal infused honeys workshops

from £15.00

As part of our community medicine making autumn/winter series

Join us as we make healing remedies with herbs grown, harvested and dried from the garden and local lands. We will make remedies to take home, but also meet plants in the garden, drink tea and learn about how we can take care of ourselves and others during this season.

Workshops take place at our community herb garden for September and October, we will then move indoors come November.

Saturday October 10th

1-4pm

We return to the garden for another annual fire cider making session. A folk remedy made with pungent, aromatic and spicy herbs, made with apple cider vinegar to support immunity and fight off colds/flus (this is an alcohol free recipe). This year we will be including our garden grown garlic and onion! As well as adding other herbs like horseradish, chillies, ginger and more. We will also include other antiviral and immune supporting herbs from the garden like yarrow, thyme, oregano and more. We will also make an infused herbal honey that can be used to support coughs and colds.
